Born out of a desire to create a floating interactive performance art installation and to inspire science and art in the local community, the Airship Victoria blends modern and historical technology to provide a unique spin on airship design and architecture. Through the integration of art, science, air, and electricity, the operators of the Airship Victoria will create floating three-dimensional art that will push the envelopes in visual and audio performance art, as well as science and technology. This ambitious project is only the beginning, and with increased funding and participation, we are all excited to see to what heights the Airship Victoria will soar.

U-Save Rental has been instrumental since 2009 with the use of heavy equipment, including cranes and jackhammers. Without them, visualization of the project without the use of helium would not have been possible. They are amazing.

The Bluewater 4000 lb tensile straps held the 2011 X3 Airship together and now we are utilizing them to build an extremely strong structure for our base camp. Thanks Bluewater!

Thanks to the participation of Rick Sobilo of Moose Metal. He both designed and machined the elements of the winching system, without which the Airship X3 would not have been so beautifully stable and safe.
